Gretchen Huizinga

Dr. Gretchen Huizinga is a speaker, researcher, writer, and podcaster who explores the moral and ethical implications of artificial intelligence from a biblical perspective. From 2017 to 2025, Gretchen was the host of the Microsoft Research Podcast where she interviewed scientists and industry leaders on the latest technological innovations. She was also a founding board member and research fellow at AI and Faith, and now speaks nationally and internationally on AI, ethics, and the Christian gospel, approaching the topics with wisdom and humor, making complex concepts accessible to all audiences. She lives near Seattle with her husband and wears better shoes than academia demands, or a podcast warrants.
